April 19, 2022 CHS History Fair

  • On Tuesday, April 19th, students competed in the first CHS History Fair. The History Fair was hosted by the CHS National History Day Team, with cooperation from the PBIS Program at CHS.
     
    The National History Day Team competes in the National History Day contest by submitting creative projects which address specific historical themes.
     
    The History Fair was open to all CHS students. Students created exhibits that showed off the history of a topic of their choice. The topics were: Haitian Revolution, Sinking of the Lusitania, Imperialism, History of School, and History of Nintendo.
     
    Also on display were the projects submitted to the National History Day competition: Lincoln-Douglas Debates, Debate on Prohibition. The projects were evaluated by teachers, administrators, and members of the CHS National History Day Team.
     
    Prizes were distributed to the winners - 1st: Haitian Revolution, 2nd: Sinking of the Lusitania, 3rd: History of Nintendo.
