Internships Overview

  • The internship option program is a senior option structured method of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. An Internship experience provides academic credit for structured, voluntary job experience. An internship option program enables students to receive career training (volunteer) as they work with professionals in their major fields of study. Work experience enhances the students’ academic training.  These students will also serve as representatives of CHS in the world of work. Students in the internship program will be responsible for finding their own placements. The Internship option program is taking on new importance by helping young people to make the school-to-work transition, service learning, and experiential learning initiatives.
